Apple cider chicken thighs

A fall flavored dish that is warm and satisfying.

Ingredients

  • 10 chicken thighs, bone-in
  • 1/2 red onion
  • 3/4 cup apple cider
  • 1 Tbsp. Dijon mustard

Spices

  • Garlic powder
  • Onion powder
  • Smoked paprika
  • Thyme
  • Salt
  • Pepper

Instructions

    1. Slice red onion and set aside.
    2. Remove skin from chicken thighs. Sprinkle liberally with seasonings and stir to combine.
    3. Sear chicken thighs until brown on both sides.
    4. Add to crockpot, along with red onions, apple cider, and mustard. Add additional seasonings to taste.
    5. Cook on high for 3 1/2 hours.
