Ingredients
Crumble
- 1/3 cup white rice flour
- 1/4 cup sorghum flour
- 1/4 cup millet flour
- 1/4 cup brown sugar
- 3 Tbsp. tapioca starch
- 1/4 tsp. baking powder
- 1/4 tsp. salt
- 2 1/2 Tbsp. shortening
- 2 Tbsp. oil
Filling
- 4-5 cups fruit
- 1 Tbsp. sugar
- 1 Tbsp. lemon juice
- 1-1 1/2 Tbsp. tapioca starch
- 1/2 tsp. vanilla
- 1/4 tsp. cinnamon or nutmeg (optional)
- Pinch of salt
Instructions
- Mix flours, brown sugar, tapioca starch, baking powder, and salt in a bowl.
- Cut in shortening until mixture is crumbly.
- Drizzle in oil and press together until small clumps form.
- Chill in fridge for 10-15 minutes (optional).
- In the meantime, combine fruit filling ingredients in an 8x8 inch baking dish.
- Sprinkle crumble evenly over fruit.
- Bake at 350°F for 40-45 minutes or until crumble is golden and fruit is bubbling.
- Cool at least 10 minutes before serving.
