Hello, and welcome to my website! As you probably guessed, my name is Jenae Lawson. I was born and raised in the Midwest of the United States, and that’s where I currently live. I have done quite a bit of traveling around the world and domestically, having spent time in Asia, Eastern Europe, and Africa.

Cooking and sewing are two of my main hobbies and interests. I love being in the kitchen and trying new things. Pinterest is the only social media app I have on my phone, and I’m always looking up new recipes to try. I started sewing because I couldn’t find clothes that fit me properly, so I set out to make my own. Since then, I’ve sewn so much and learned a lot. 

I am also interested in health and family life, as I am married and have a daughter. I have documented what I’ve learned along the way of pregnancy, childbirth, and raising kids. I’m somewhat of a traditionalist in that sense, and a lot of my content is about natural ways to do things. I’m also a writer at heart. I have filled up 13 journals since 2019, so writing has always been a way for me to get my ideas out of my mind and onto paper.

I originally started this website because I wanted to have a place for all of my recipes and sewing tutorials. I have spruced it up a bit since then and have compiled even more things along the way. Feel free to comment on my posts or contact me at jenaelawson.com@gmail.com. Take care!
