Canned carrots

A quick and easy side dish.

Ingredients

  • 1 can of sliced carrots
  • 1/2 tsp. honey
  • 1/4 tsp. salt
  • 1/4 tsp. onion powder
  • 1/4 tsp. thyme
  • 1 tsp, lemon juice (optional)

Instructions

  1. Drain and rinse carrots. Pat dry.
  2. Sauté carrots over medium (5) heat until heated through, ~3 minutes.
  3. Add remaining ingredients and stir. 
  4. Sauté for 1-2 more minutes then remove from heat.
