Bone marrow

A nutrient powerhouse great for adding to everyday cooking.

Ingredients

  • 2 canoe cut beef bones (~2 lbs.)
  • Salt
  • Oil

Instructions

  1. If making from frozen, place beef bones on a baking sheet lined with tinfoil. Place in the oven and then preheat to 425°F.
  2. Oven has preheated, remove baking tray. Lightly spray bones with oil and sprinkle with salt. Return to oven for 20 minutes.
  3. Remove and allow to cool for at least 30 minutes. Scoop out marrow and allow to cool to room temperature.
  4. Add marrow to a mixing bowl and beat until fluffy.
