Ingredients

  • 3 lbs. boneless short ribs
  • 1/4 cup beef broth
  • 1/4 cup BBQ sauce
  • 2 Tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 Tbsp. balsamic or apple cider vinegar
  • 1 Tbsp. agave or brown sugar
  • 1/2 tsp. onion powder
  • 1/4 tsp. black pepper

Instructions

  1. Generously sprinkle short ribs with salt.
  2. Brown on both sides in a cast iron skillet over medium-high (6) heat.
  3. Add browned meat to a crockpot along with remaining ingredients.
  4. Cook on high for 4 hours until fork tender, flipping halfway through.
