A delicious way to cook ribs that rivals the grill.
Ingredients
- 3-4 lbs beef back ribs
- 3 Tbsp. Dijon mustard
- 2–3 Tbsp. dry rub (below)
- 3-4 Tbsp. barbecue sauce
Dry rub
- 2 Tbsp. brown sugar
- 1 Tbsp. smoked paprika
- 1 Tbsp. salt
- 1 tsp. garlic powder
- 1 tsp. onion powder
- 1 tsp. pepper
- 1/2 tsp. ancho chili powder
Instructions
- Remove the membrane from the ribs by sliding a knife under it and pulling it off with a paper towel.
- Coat the ribs on both sides with Dijon mustard.
- Sprinkle the dry rub evenly over all sides of the ribs and rub in gently.
- Let the ribs sit at room temperature for 30-45 minutes (optional).
- Preheat oven to 275°F. Cover ribs tightly with foil then place on a baking sheet.
- Bake for 2 1/2-3 hours, until the meat is tender and pulls away from the bone.
- Remove the foil and brush the ribs with barbecue sauce on top.
- Broil for 5 minutes.
