5 Days in LA

My husband and I spent spring vacation in Los Angeles. This is how we spent 5 days in LA for the first time that allowed us to see everything and then some.

Day 1

Fly in in the afternoon. Eat a meal, go to the hotel. Eat another meal. Go for a walk around the area. Back to the hotel. Sleep.

Day 2

Walk the Hollywood Walk of Fame. Breakfast. Go to the Griffith Observatory, hike the hills. Look at the Hollywood sign. Go to lunch. Drive around. Shopping. Santa Monica pier/beach. Eat dinner at a nice restaurant near the beach. Back to the hotel. Sleep.

Day 3

Breakfast. Malibu beach. Drive through Malibu hills, Calabasas. Dinner. Back to hotel. Sleep

Day 4

Breakfast. Shopping. Newport beach. Eat. Back to hotel. Nap. Dinner. Laker’s game. Back to hotel. Sleep.

Day 5

Fly out in the morning.

This was one of the best (if not the best) vacation my husband and I have ever had. LA and the surrounding area is a really great place for a vacation, especially if you have never been there and are exploring it for the first time. There is so much to do that there is no excuse to be bored here. It is expensive, like everyone says, but that is something we are willing to accept when we are on vacation. Things are not necessarily unreasonably priced, but it can add up as most vacation costs do. Overall, we had a great time in LA, and would love to return sometime.
