An easy way to make beef jerky with no special equipment required.
Ingredients
- 1 lb. ground beef
- 1 Tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
- 1 Tbsp. soy sauce
- 1 tsp. brown sugar
- 3/8 tsp. salt
- 1/2 tsp. garlic powder
- 1/2 tsp. onion powder
- 1/2 tsp. pepper
- 1/4 tsp. curry powder
Instructions
- Mix all ingredients until well combined.
- Spread on a silicone mat on a baking sheet until between 1/8” and 1/4”. Score into 1” strips that are ~4” long.
- Dehydrate in oven at 170°F for 3-4 hours. Pat dry and drain juices after 30-60 minutes and flip after 1 1/2 hours.

The best homemade beef jerky.
Ingredients
- 2 lbs. 90% lean ground beef
- 2 Tbsp. brown sugar
- 2 Tbsp. tamari
- 2 Tbsp. Worcester sauce
- 1 3/4 tsp. salt
- 2 tsp. garlic powder
- 2 tsp. onion powder
- 2 tsp. pepper
- 1/2 tsp. smoked paprika
- 1 tsp. liquid smoke
- 1/8 tsp. cumin
Instructions
- Mix all ingredients. Squeeze into rounds on dehydrator.
- Dehydrate at 145°F for 8 hours total.
Notes
After the first hour, cut into desired length sticks, dab both sides, flip, and rotate trays.
Repeat dabbing once or twice, as needed.

Ingredients
- 2 lbs. top round or bottom round beef
- 1/3 c. tamari
- 1/3 c. Worcester sauce
- 1/3 c. liquid smoke
- 1/2 tsp. adobo chipotle pepper
- 2/3 Tbsp. salt
- 3/4 tsp. pepper
- 1 tsp. garlic powder
Instructions
- Trim all fat off beef. Cut against the grain into 1/4” slices. Mix all ingredients in a bag. Marinate for 8 hours or overnight.
- Dehydrate at 145°F for ~8 hours total. After the first hour, dab both sides, flip, and rotate trays. Repeat again once or twice during dehydration.
