An easy way to make shredded chicken in the instant pot,
Ingredients
- 1 1/2 lbs. chicken breast
- 1/4 tsp. basil
- 1/4 tsp. oregano
- 1/4 tsp. onion powder
- 1/4 tsp. pepper
- 1/8 tsp. thyme
- 1 cup water
Instructions
- Mix all ingredients in instant pot.
- Pressure cook for 12 minutes. Allow pressure to natural release.
- Separate juice from chicken and shred with two forks. Save juice for another use.

Use in chicken enchiladas or bbq chicken

An easy way to make shredded chicken.
Ingredients
- Chicken breasts
- 1/2 cup chicken broth
Instructions
- Rinse chicken breasts, and add to a deep pot with water or broth.
- Let simmer over medium-low (3) heat, covered, for 20 minutes or until fully cooked through. Allow to rest 5 minutes.
- Remove chicken breasts from pot. Shred with two forks.
Notes
Reserve the cooking liquid to use later.
