A gluten-free alternative to regular cornbread.
Ingredients
- 1/2 c. sorghum flour
- 1/2 c. cornmeal
- 2 Tbsp. white rice flour
- 2 Tbsp. corn flour (optional)
- 1 Tbsp. flax meal (optional)
- 1 egg
- 1 Tbsp. honey
- 3/4 c. water/milk
- 1 Tbsp. oil
- pinch of salt
- 1 tsp. baking soda
- 1/4 tsp. baking powder
Instructions
- Mix all ingredients. Allow to chill in egg for 8 hours or overnight.
- Bake at 375ºF for 40 minutes.
