Shrimp in tuscan sauce

A delicious way to serve shrimp that is quick and easy.


  • 1 Tbsp. oil
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 1/2 cups milk
  • 1 Tbsp. flour
  • 1/2 Tbsp. lemon or orange zest (optional)
  • 1/4 c. sundried tomatoes, minced
  • 1/2 lb. shrimp
  • 1 1/2 tsp. smoked paprika
  • 1/4 tsp. each: garlic powder, onion powder, oregano/basil, white pepper, red pepper flakes, cayenne
  • 3/8 tsp. salt, or to taste
  • A handful of spinach, basil, and/or green onions (optional)


  1. Mince garlic and sundried tomatoes. Zest fruit, if using zest, and whisk flour into milk. Set all aside.
  2. In skillet, heat oil over medium (5). Add garlic, and sauté 1-2 minutes, until fragrant.
  3. Add milk, zest, sundried tomatoes, and seasonings. Allow to simmer on 4 until thickened, ~3-5 minutes.
  4. Once thickened, add in shrimp. Simmer until shrimp is cooked through and opaque, ~3 minutes. Remove from heat and stir in spinach, basil, and/or green onions, if using.
