
Shrimp in tuscan sauce

A delicious way to serve shrimp that is quick and easy.
Ingredients
- 1 Tbsp. oil
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 1/2 cups milk
- 1 Tbsp. flour
- 1/2 Tbsp. lemon or orange zest (optional)
- 1/4 c. sundried tomatoes, minced
- 1/2 lb. shrimp
- 1 1/2 tsp. smoked paprika
- 1/4 tsp. each: garlic powder, onion powder, oregano/basil, white pepper, red pepper flakes, cayenne
- 3/8 tsp. salt, or to taste
- A handful of spinach, basil, and/or green onions (optional)
Instructions
- Mince garlic and sundried tomatoes. Zest fruit, if using zest, and whisk flour into milk. Set all aside.
- In skillet, heat oil over medium (5). Add garlic, and sauté 1-2 minutes, until fragrant.
- Add milk, zest, sundried tomatoes, and seasonings. Allow to simmer on 4 until thickened, ~3-5 minutes.
- Once thickened, add in shrimp. Simmer until shrimp is cooked through and opaque, ~3 minutes. Remove from heat and stir in spinach, basil, and/or green onions, if using.
