3 lbs top round beef roast
2 c. Beef stock
2 Tbsp. Flour
- Rinse and pat dry beef roast. Cover all sides with salt, pepper, and flour.
- In a lightly greased cast iron over medium-high (6) heat, sear beef roast on all sides.
- Place beef roast and beef stock in an 8”x8” baking dish. Cover with tinfoil and bake at 300ºF for 6-8 hours. Flip roast halfway through, and add more liquid if level is too low.
- Once beef roast is ready, cook down liquid if too watery.
