- 2 slices sourdough bread
- 1 egg
- 2 Tbsp. milk
- Sprinkle of cinnamon
- 1/8 tsp. vanilla
- Heat skillet over medium-low (3-4).
- Combine all ingredients besides bread. Whisk well to make sure egg is well beaten.
- Dip both sides of a slice of bread in the egg mixture. Cook on greased skillet for 2-3 minutes on each side. Repeat with other slice of bread.
This recipe can be scaled up, as needed.
Extra sugar is omitted since French toast is typically served with maple syrup.
